I have a 2008 Titan, the low end/work truck version with manual locks and windows. My battery went dead because I left my interior light on. I tried to jump it off and it wouldn't work then either. I called my auto parts store, and they said a severely dead battery would do that. So I bought a new one. When I installed it, the truck still wouldn't start.
Long story short, its acting like its not putting voltage to the starter. When I turn the key, it doesn't click or anything. I had a Dodge Ram once that blew it's starter fuse and acted the same way, but this truck reportedly doesn't have one. I'm 60 miles from a Nissan service center and out of ideas. Another weird symptom; when I turn my headlight switch on, the lights don't come on. If however I turn on my headlight switch, THEN turn on my ignition key, the headlights come on and STAY on even after I turn the headlight switch off.
Any ideas?
