If I'm looking to purchase a Nissan Titan, what is the best year? What year seems to have the least problems so far?

hey Andy , im greg ...i just joined this forum ...i started with an Exterra in 2001 ...then i bought the 2004 Titan crewcab 2 wheel dr...it had serious brake issues ,but they did correct it for me . The electronic shifter had issues ,and speakers ended up with distortion isssues . but all in all it was great truck , i now have the 2007 XE crew 4x4 ... i just had to replace the electronic shifter, so this must be ongoing problem in Titans ( not sure) . i just replaced the factory battery, with duralast (8 year warranty) factory battery only lasted barely 2 years... also reason i joined forum , my speakers are distorted again. im really pissed off bout this . Nissan claims i listen to stereo to loud . Im 53, my ears are not able to rock-n roll to much these days . hoping i can find answers here , i replaced the dash 3 " tweeters , now the right front passenger speaker is distorted . guess when i can afford it ill have to go to after market stereo and speakers... just wish i knew if it was connection problem or bad speakers . my wife just bought me BFG LT 285 / 70 R 17 's with motorsports rims for x-mas , made the ride lots better , we barely missed the rub issue. all in all the Titan, specially my 4x4 has been best truck ive ever had . was always a chevy guy from when i was 16 .

i dont know what year this titan i saw on the road but it was a beast the moment it was on the same lane that I was at. It was modified and somehow look more stunning. The owner probably customize this truck and by its looks it can rip a car.
