Is Nissan going to put a Diesel motor in the Nissan Titan? There are definitely a few rumors going around! It seems that many manufacturers are talking about putting diesel motors in their trucks(besides the big 3), but it seems that all of them are afraid to be the first.

I was told by a Toyota dealer a couple years ago that by 2010 Toyota would have a diesel motor option for all their trucks and some of their suv's. Well, that still has not happened. Now, Mahindra, an Indian auto manufacturer is supposed to be releasing their two light duty pickups in the US with diesel motors in late spring.

Here is what I have seen for information on a Diesel Nissan Titan though:
